Beth Israel Congregation is a small reform congregation located at 144 E. Fourth St. in downtown Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Our mailing address is found at the bottom of the page.

We welcome all to our community and our services are lay led other than the High Holidays. Our congregation is comprised of Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox Jews along with a devoted group of Christians who join us on a regular basis. Part of the beauty of our diverse congregation is the opportunity the experience the diversity and variety that our lay leaders bring from their backgrounds in the different movements of Judaism.

Our synagogue is currently open for the following holidays and festivals, and we meet on the second and fourth Fridays for Shabbat.

Purim – Passover – Yom HaShoah – Yom Kippur – Rosh HaShanah – Sukkot – Hannukah
